Recipe:

Hook: -  Size 10 to 14 Buzzer Hook

Head: - Bead to match in with the AXXEL 6X

Thread: - UNI-Thread 6/0 to match the AXXEL 6X being used

Tail: - Marabou feathers of choice

Body: - AXXEL 6X of choice for the fly body being made

Method:-

Place bead on to hook

Tie in the thread to just before the bend of the hook, snipping off excess

Tie in Marabou feathers of choice, snipping with thumb and forefinger away excess

Tie in the AXXEL 6X of choice, bringing the thread back to the bead

Now bring AXXEL 6X in touching turns up to the bead, and going back and forth in touching turns building up a neat tapered body.

Secure the AXXEL 6X with the UNI-Thread 6/0 and snip off excess

Build a small neat head behind the bead and snip off.

Give the body a couple of coats of varnish to give added strength to the thread for when the fish takes the fly
